Construction Costs

Remodeling costs are highly variable because each home is unique and each project is different. Several factors influence the cost of a project, including the age & condition of the home, structural changes, electrical and plumbing updates, design and layouts, and fixtures and finishes. Due to these variables, no matter how small or big the project is, there's no typical price per square foot in remodeling. However, here are some general ballpark figures we can provide based on our most recent projects to help with budget expectations: 

​General Ballpark Estimate Ranges

• Kitchens: $150K - $300K+ (depending on size, fixtures, finishes, and structural work)

• Small Bathrooms: $75K - $95K (single sink, one toilet, one tub/shower) 

• Large Bathrooms: $115K - $175K+ (double vanities, separate tub and shower)

• Basement to ADU Conversions: $300K+ (depending on the existing condition, layout changes, and required plumbing/electrical work) 

• Detached Accessory Dwelling Units (DADUs): $550K - $850K+ (depending on groundworks, utilities, size, number of beds/baths, and fixtures and finishes)

• Whole House Renovations and Additions: Starting at $750K for smaller one story homes and easily reaching $1M, $2M, or more depending on the square footage, number of kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, condition of the existing structure, and the extent of additions.
